Bonavista Biennale

This exciting month-long Canada 150 project brings together works by 26 Canadian artists to 
be exhibited at 24 sites around the Bonavista Peninsula

EXPLORE the land of Beothuk, Mi'kmaq and other indigenous peoples where Giovanni Caboto landed The Matthew in 1497. Biennale explorers trace the past and encounter the present through contemporary art in historic settings. 

ENCOUNTER traditional and interdisciplinary art practices that reflect the diversity of social exchange and the on-going negotiation of Canadian cultural perspectives. Meet the artists and their work on Opening weekend.
